Description

Outdoor Adventure Kids is a nature exploration and discovery program for kids. Each day after school we'll gather to play nature games, sing songs, explore and discover the wonders of our natural world, do science experiments and create interesting art. There is a balanced mix of organized activities and supervised creative play time. Each day is a new adventure that emerges from the interests of the participants. Register for the full session or drop-in for a single day.

This year's conference week extravaganza is called Tribe of the Hand: Clan of the Coast. Each day we will go on a field trip to visit a different aquatic habitat, explore and discover the wonders it has to offer, play nature games and take on a group team building challenge such as the blind walk, turtles challenge, human knot and others. If our team is successful, each day you and your team will earn a knowledge bead to add to your Tribe of the Hand Amulet.

The field trips will be to Frye Cove Park on Monday, McClane Creek Natural Area on Tuesday, Pioneer Park on Wednesday, Burfoot Park on Thursday and culminating at Tolmie State Park on Friday for hamburgers, hot dogs and s'mores!
