Each
day, students will embark on field trips to explore different forest
habitats, discovering earth's wonders while playing nature games and
tackling team-building challenges like the blind walk, turtles
challenge, and human knot. If successful, each team will earn a
knowledge bead to add to their Amulet. We will end the
week with a community celebration with hot dogs and s'mores to
celebrate the successes of our clan.

Field trips will
take us to many of South Puget Sounds most amazing places. All families
that register will receive a parents-only agenda. Part of the magic of
the adventure is we figure out each day where we should go based on
information provided. Parents will have an agenda that lets you know
where your children will be each day. We ask that you not share this
specific information with your children to preserve the "spontaneity" of
the adventure.

We will meet students near the tether ball poles, next to the playground outside the school, and proceed to the gazebo each day at 11:35. 

Please send your child prepared to be outside all day each day: rain pants, rain jacket, rain boots, hat, gloves, warm layers, extra dry clothes. (If you need to borrow any of these items, please email [email protected] and we will provide your child with gear.)

Please make sure they have a lunch and water bottle and extra snacks.
